Mirantis helps top enterprises build and manage private cloud infrastructure using OpenStack and related open source technologies such as Kubernetes. To date, Mirantis has helped more than 200 enterprises build and operate some of the largest OpenStack clouds in the world.
Mirantis uses InfluxData’s InfluxDB to monitor their OpenStack infrastructure. InfluxDB is used to store and query the OpenStack infrastructure metrics time series they collect at the OpenStack infrastructure level. They use InfluxDB as part of a larger project they call the Logging, Monitoring, Alerting (LMA) toolchain that they provide as Fuel plugins for Mirantis OpenStack monitoring.
Mirantis loves the SQL-like query syntax and support for tagging at the database level in InfluxDB.
