Abstract: In this ITOps Times article, Tim Armandpour features predictions by industry experts for 2020. Among the experts featured is InfluxData founder and CTO Paul Dix, who is quoted as saying that enterprise tech customers will finally realize that pursuing a multi-cloud strategy takes enormous effort and adds a lot of complexity since it requires building systems that can switch between different public clouds for the relatively meager benefit of hedging against outages and vendor lock-in.
