Testimonials

aiven logo

Aiven offers InfluxDB and Grafana as a service on multiple clouds in 47 different data centers around the world. Their focus is on ease of use while offering advanced features like online plan upgrades and no-downtime migration from one region to another. “InfluxDB offers great performance with compact database sizes, allowing using a long metrics history while maintaining high sample time resolution for the most recent data points.” said Mika Eloranta, co-founder of Aiven, “Downsampling older metric points with “continuous queries” is a breeze.” Aiven began using InfluxDB for their own monitoring purposes and and found it so great that they started offering it to their customers as well.

Aiven is a next-generation managed cloud service hosting for software infrastructure services. Their focus is on ease of adoption, high fault resilience, and peace of mind. Aiven is a true Database-as-a-service and includes advanced service options like the InfluxDB time series database and Grafana data visualization toolkit.

BadShark logo BadShark has been using InfluxDB since the early beta releases. They use InfluxDB as a Google Analytics, New Relic and Graphite replacement to manage their distributed messaging systems spanning over hundreds of machines. Marco Lisci, the Distributed Systems Engineer for BadShark states that “InfluxDB is a foundation of any software built at BadShark. We build custom distributed messaging/email systems and any SaaS we tried simply couldn’t handle the throughput. InfluxDB replaced any metrics/analytics/logging systems we are using, making it the first choice in software instrumentation.”

BadShark is a full-stack software design & development company in Barcelona, Spain. Their focus is on building simple, distributed and scalable application and services, including analytics and monitoring.

browserup logo Influxdb allows browserup to aggregate data to show trends that just wouldn’t be possible with an in-house solution. This time series data allows them to show their customers a large amount of detail during their load test to identify any performance issues.

browserup is building a set of world-class automation tools using selenium. Thier first tool is a performance/load testing. You can sign up for early access to their beta on their website.
